Replacement A-Frame Jack for Forest River A-Frame Pop Up Trailer 17

Question:

I have a Forest River A-Frame pop up trailer 17 and need to replace my jack. The trailers GRVW is 3082 lbs. The current jack has a 2inch outer diameter and a 1-5/8inch inner diameter. The retracted length from the top of the bracket is 6-5/8 inch and the extended length from the top of the bracket is 22-5/8 The hole in the coupler is 2-1/4 Height above the bracket is 14-1/8inch and the handle is 6-1/2 I cant seem to find an exact replacement. What do you recommend?

I pulled up pictures of your Forest River A-Frame pop up trailer 17 and it has a very standard a-frame jack on it that we can easily help you replace. The trailer does seem to have a very low ground clearance so that would be the most important feature to accommodate.

Take a look at Pro Series jack # PS1401000303. The mounting bracket is very low relative to the bottom of the jack tubes, 5-1/2 inches. You can use footplate, # PS1400700340 and wheel # PS1400750340. The wheel is rated for 1,200 pounds so it would limit the jack capacity to 1,200 pounds also.
