Snow Plow Setup for a 2016 Ram 3500
Question:
Hi Connor, If I have a 12K winch on the 3500, should I still go with the actuator? Or would I be better off using the winch? The winch is in a Westin MAX Winch Tray and I also have a Westin HDx grill guard. Will clearance be an issue with this setup? Thanks.

I do have a front mount hitch and snow plow compatible with your 2016 Ram 3500 but according to American Expedition Vehicles (AEV), there is not a front mount trailer hitch compatible with the AEV front bumper installed on your vehicle therefore, you would not be able to use a snow plow on the Backcountry edition of your 2016 Jeep Wrangler.
For a snow plow and front mount hitch setup for your Ram, I recommend using both the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C31067 and the SnowBear Proshovel Snowplow for 2" Hitches part # SB324-140. The Proshovel has an electric actuator that raises and lowers the plow smoothly and consistently. The in-cab toggle switch lets you raise and lower the plow from the comfort of your vehicle. The plow blade is 88" wide x 26" tall and has 5 adjustable angles; left 11 degrees, left 22 degrees, straight, right 11 degrees, and right 22 degrees.
