Is Kat's Heaters Self-Regulating When Plugged In?
Question:
I am curious if while plugged in does this heater stay on, is it self regulating? if so does it only turn on after the oil pan has upped to a certain temperature?

The Kat's Heaters Oil or Transmission Pan Heating Pad # KH24050 are not self-regulating. They can get to between 300 and 400 degrees, though the outside temperature is obviously going to have some impact on that number. The pad is 5" x 2" and plugs into a 120 volt outlet.
