Matching Wiring from RV Traditional Wire Colors to RV STANDARD Wire Colors
Question:
My 6 way is labeled with color names, there is spot for green, brown, white, red and black. My wires from car are green, yellow,white and brown.....where do I hook the yellow wire?

There can be two standard type of trailer wiring color codes seen. Sounds like your motorhome's 6-way uses the colors that are green for taillight, brown for right turn/stop, red for left turn/stop, white for ground and black for 12 volt power (not used).
So you'd run your 4-way colors of green on the 4-way to brown on 6-way.
Yellow of 4-way to red of 6-way.
White to white.
Brown of 4-way to green of 6-way.
