How Thick is the Hopkins Backup Sensor System # HM60100VA
Question:
Im thinking about installing on a 2007 Chevrolet Colorado. How thick is the mounting bracket? The license plate is slightly below the bumper. I have Approximately another 1/2 inch space left using the bracket I have now before i hit the bumper

At it's thickest point at the bottom the Hopkins Backup Sensor System # HM60100VA measures just under 1/2 inches. It was maybe 1/32 inches under 1/2 inch so it would be a tight squeeze if you measured that open space to be exactly 1/2 inches.
