Converting to Electric Over Hydraulic Drum Brakes for Boat Trailer
Question:
I have a boat trailer with drum brakes and I already have a brake controller in the vehicle. I want to be able to apply brakes to the trailer when backing down the ramp. Is there a way to convert it to electrical so that I can apply brakes in reverse?

In order to apply the brakes on your boat trailer while backing up, we have a kit that includes the electric over hydraulic actuator, breakaway kit and 7-way wiring, HydraStar # HS381-9066.
