Is the Edge Evolution Legal in All 50 States 2005/2016 Ford F-150
Question:
Can this chip be used on public streets and highways legally?

The Edge Evolution Programmers and the Edge Insight CTS2 Comprehensive Gauge Displays are legal for use on public streets and highways except some of them are not approved for California. It will depend on the model.
The Edge Insight is a comprehensive gauge display that allows you to view features that are not normally accessible on your vehicle without additional tools. The Insight will not affect the performance of your vehicle. The Edge Evolution will affect the performance of your vehicle. It will also allow for parameter adjustments such as shift points, rev limiter, and tire size.
If you have a 2005 Ford F-150 you will want to use part # EP59YR(not CA approved) for the Evolution and part # EP84130(just a display so good in all 50) for the Insight. The Evolution will provide you with up to 35 HP and 50 TQ on this vehicle.
If you have a 2016 Ford F-150 you will want to use part # EP85350(not CA approved) for the Evolution and part # EP84130(ok in all 50 states) for the Insight. The Evolution will provide you with up to 13 HP and 15 TQ on this vehicle.
If you have a different vehicle, please let me know the year, make, and model and I would be glad to offer my recommendation.
