Compatibility of Mounting Holes on Fulton Spare Tire Carrier and Atwood Stabilizer Jack

Question:

Good Hello - I have the Fulton Spare Tire Carrier FSTC1000301 mounted top side on a 2x3inch trailer tongue. so that the spare is flat horizontal. I am considering mounting Atwood Stabilizer Jack # AT82307 to the underside of Item # MT70214 in place of the two brackets that come with and are currently installed with Item # MT70214 Can you tell me if four of the holes on Atwood Stabilizer Jack # AT82307 mount plate match four holes on the MaxxTow Spare Tire Carrier Item # MT70214 mount plate? allowing me to bolt clamp them together onto the tongue. Cheers

The Fulton Hi-Mount Spare Tire Carrier - Fits 4- and 5-Lug Wheels # FSTC1000301 has bolt holes that are 3-1/2 inches apart or 4-1/2 inches apart on center. This will line up with the Atwood Stabilizer jack AT82307 that has a 4-1/2 inch square mounting plate only on one side. The mounting on the Fulton Carrier is rectangular not square, so it won't be a perfect fit with the stabilizer jack.

They would need to be bolted onto the tongue of your trailer separately, however the Atwood Jack is not intended for this type of trailer application and would be too wide for standard trailer tongue dimensions.
