Weight Capacity of Yakima LongHaul Bike Rack

Question:

on the Yakima LongHaul bike rack it says may 37lbs per bike. I have two beach bikes I want to carry - one is 41LB and one is 45LB. Can I be a little over per bike since is am only carrying two bikes.

Even with just two bikes, the weight capacity of the Yakima LongHaul # Y02476 would remain the same at 37.5 lbs per bike.

There is a solution for you to haul your beach bikes on your RV, however. If your beach bikes do not have fat tires, I recommend the Swagman Dispatch # S44FR, a platform rack which is rated for use on RV's and has a weight capacity of 45 lbs per bike. It also comes with included bike and hitch locks, though it does have a maximum tire width of 3".
