How to Connect Series-Wired Batteries to Power Inverter
Question:
My 5 th wheel has 2 6 volt batteries wired in series...where should the positive and negative cables go on the batteries from the inverter ...IE positive to positive on one... and negative to negative in the other ?

When two batteries are wired in series, such as with your two 6V batteries wired together to give you 12V operation, the negative terminal on one battery and the positive terminal on the other will be what you connect to your inverter.
The linked diagram shows a series wiring arrangement (but just for two 12V batteries wired to deliver 24V).
