To choose the correct replacement electric brake assemblies for your 1999 Skyline Trailer, I recommend first verifying the axle capacities on the trailer. I was unable to locate the axle capacity on your Skyline using the information you provided. The axle capacity should be located somewhere on the axle itself or listed on the main trailer plate on the tongue.
After finding this, you will want to take a couple of quick measurements on your existing drum. You will measure both the inside diameter and depth of the drum. I have included a photo to illustrate this.
Lastly, you will just want to ensure that the brake assembly you choose uses the same bolt pattern as the mounting flange on your axle.
For example, the etrailer.com Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA is designed for 3,500 pound axles. These are 10 inch x 2-1/4 inch assemblies that use a 4 bolt mounting flange pattern. I have included a link that will take you to our available selection of electric brake assemblies. You can sort through the options by using the filters on the left side of the page.
