The two adapters you mentioned fit fifth wheel rail kits and give you a gooseneck hitch ball. There would be no way to use one of the plate adapters and a fifth wheel slider at the same times. But if you can email me back with more info on what you are planning on towing I can see what you'd need.

If I am understanding you correctly you want a set of fifth wheel rails so that you can tow a fifth wheel trailer and then an adapter to allow you to tow a gooseneck hitch?

Let's first start with a rail kit for your 1991 Ford F-350 short bed with overload springs. For that you would want the Reese kit part # RP30035 which is a confirmed fit. With that installed you then can use the A20 slider hitch part # C16541. The kit that includes this hitch and the rail kit does not fit your truck. Then you can use the # 16085 for an adapter to tow a gooseneck hitch. # 16055 would also fit as well.
