Will Heat from 277-000091 Damage the Side of an RV or Trailer

Question:

I have a concern about mounting this grill to the side of my RV. The main concern is the heat emitting from the rear of the grill and damaging my rv or causing a fire. My rv is a 2017 Heartland 28dbss.

By my calculations the centerline of the burner in the Portable Gas Grill with Carrying Bag - Black Item # 277-000091 to the surface it is mounted to is approximately 21 inches or so. At that distance the amount of heat that would reach the RV wall is minimal and not nearly enough to damage it.

Another option is the Faulkner BBQ Grill - RV Mount or Freestanding - Propane - Stainless Steel Item # FR51323. If you mount it to the side of the RV and are not comfortable with the space between it and the RV then you can put it in freestanding mode away from the RV!
