The etrailer Cargo Carrier #e98874 referenced in your question will work great on your 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe as long as it has a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver installed. This is a really nice cargo carrier that features a folding design so it can fold up against the rear of the vehicle when not in use. The black powder coat finish will do a great job of resisting rust and corrosion. The 608 inch wide and 24 inch deep inside dimensions will give you plenty of storage space for your cargo.
If you do not yet have a trailer hitch installed on the vehicle, I recommend the Curt Class III Round Tube Receiver Hitch # C13152 if your Santa Fe is the Sport model or # C13153 if you have the SE or Limited model. These are great Class III hitches that will give you the needed 2 inch receiver and and a 900 pound tongue weight capacity. Based on the installations we have done for this vehicle, there will be no issue with the cargo carrier interfering with the rear bumper, even when it is in the folded position.
I have attached installation videos on all of the products mentioned for you to check out.
