How to Pick Out Self Adjusting Brake Assemblies for 2016 Crossroads Rezerve 26RB
Question:
I have a 2016 Crossroads Rezerve 26RB camper. I expect that I have manual adjusters on my brakes havent pulled the drums yet to visually confirm, as I have to adjust them every 1500 miles or so. If my brakes do have a manual adjuster, I want to upgrade to an auto adjuster hub. If/when I get the new hubs, can I use my existing drums or do I have to replace them also? Also, do you know which size hubs are on the camper? Thanks!

You can keep your current hub/drums when you upgrade to self-adjusting brake assemblies on your trailer.
It's just a matter of picking out the correct assemblies to replace what you have as we don't have that info.
To pick out the correct brake assemblies for your trailer you need to know a few things.
You will want to measure the inner diameter of your hub/drums and the depth of the drums to determine what brake assembly dimensions you need. For example the part # AKEBRK-35-SA is a 10 inch by 2-1/4 inch thick brake assembly.
You also want to determine what the bolt pattern is of your assembly mounting flange. The standard size is 4 on 4 inch. You also want to determine the axle capacity of your trailer and go with an assembly that has the same rating, the # AKEBRK-35-SA has a 3,500 lb capacity.
