How To Reduce Vehicle Sag While Towing a 5x10 Landscape Trailer With a 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500

Question:

I have a 2011 silverado with a 3.5 rough country lift with new struts in the front. I pull a 5x10 landscaping trailer everyday and it seems to be putting alot of stress on my front struts and they are needing to replaced. Im looking into buying the timbren TGMRCK15s to help with this do you think that will help with my new struts once they are put on. What I have now just pulls the back down and lifts the front up and puts alot of stress on my front struts.

Yes the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TGMRCK15S will do an excellent job of helping to level your 2011 Chevy Silverado while loaded which will in turn relieve some of the stress forced on your front struts.

However, as you have a lifted vehicle you will need to compensate for this by using the lift spacers. In order to determine the correct spacer needed you will need to measure from the bottom of the frame to the top of your rear axle. The recommended distance from the bottom of the Timbren to the top of the rear axle is 1/2" to 1". You will need to use intervals of part # A25723-90AH00 (1") and part # TA25722-90P00 (1/2") to achieve this distance. The Timbren springs are 4-1/2" tall. You can not use more than 4 of these spacers on one side of the vehicle. You will also need a new M10 bolt to fit the Timbrens as the M10 bolt included in the kit will not be long enough once the spacers are added.

I have included both a review and installation video of the Timbrens on a 2011 Chevy Silverado for you.
