Trailer Tire Recommendation for Size ST235/85R16 for Blow Outs
Question:
We keep blowing tires on our 2008 Montana 3485SA 5th wheel. We bought tires from e trailer but continue to blow one every trip. We keep a close watch on the air pressure too. This has happened for as long as we have had the trailer. Any help would be appreciated

I checked your order notes and it looks like you have bought the part # AM10501 which is a tire size ST235/85R16 that has a 65 mph speed rating. Exceeding that rating will cause heat to build up and tire failure.
What I would recommend is the part # LHWL410 this is the same size but it has a higher speed rating at 71 mph and has a 2 year roadside assistance program.
If your RV or trailer has a flat tire, call the help line and a technician will come change the flat for you. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year from anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
