Wire Colors and Diagram for Replacing 5-Way with 7-Way
Question:
The 5 pin has white. Brown. yellow. Green. And blue wires. How does that wire up to 7 pin round with no black or purple wires on the 5 pin? 2012 dodge 1500 ram

The 5 wire colors you mentioned for the 5-way are white for ground, brown for running lights, yellow for left turn/stop, green for right turn/stop, and blue for aux (typically reverse light but sometimes brake output).
What you will need to do is compare that to the diagram I attached that shows how a 7-way is wired and wire by function.
