Kayak Carrier for Whispbar Aero-Style Roof Rack Crossbars
Question:
Im interested in the swagman kayak rack but I have the whispbar aero roof rack. Will that bracket fit the width of the roof bar? Thanks!

The Swagman Exo Aero Rooftop Kayak Carrier # S65145 will fit on aero/elliptical roof rack bars that are up to 2-1/2-inches wide. Since quiet aero bar racks are quite popular and offered by several makers like Whispbar, Thule and Rhino-Rack most carriers' mounting hardware is made to accommodate their larger dimensions. However, the Whispar crossbars are too wide, at over 3-inches, to work with this particular carrier.

Yakima, who makes the Whispbar racks, offers their JayLow carrier # Y04073 which works on their aero bars. This can carry 1 or 2 kayaks as shown in the linked video.
