Installing the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk # CC-275
Question:
I was unaware of any drilling that would be nessesary as well as reviews mentioning the need for longer bolts. The diagram does not depict the top cross bar. Could someone who is familiar with this item please contact me for assistance. Im not comfortable with the install and am not going to damage a new rv without proper instructions and hardware.

The install of the Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers # CC-275 only requires drilling into the upright bars and the side of the brackets themselves - not your trailer frame. This is to help make the bike rack carrier much more customizable for your application.
The bolts that secure the bracket on the A-Frame of your trailer will not need to be replaced as long as your trailer frame has a standard width. My contact at Stromberg Carlson said that the bolts that are used to secure the brackets to the trailer frame are 4 inches in length. You can use that to help you determine whether or not it will fit your trailer frame.
