Recommended Timbren Spacer Needed for a 2012 Ford F-250

Question:

I have a 2012 f250 4X4 Diesel Looking at the Timbren rubber spring load assit. I have 20inch factory tires, which leads me to believe the height is higher, and I may need a spacer. The questions is if the springs are 4.5, and the bracket is 1/4inch 4.75inch total what should the space be between the spring and the bracket the overload spring will rest on when the truck is M/T?

Expert Reply:

The recommended space between the bottom of the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TFR250SDG and the contact point on your 2012 Ford F-250 when unloaded is around 1/2" to 1-1/2". The Timbrens are designed to work with all factory features including the 20" tires. However, once you install the springs and determine that you have more than the recommended space, you can install multiple of either the Timbren 1" Spacer part # A25723-90AH00 or the Timbren 1/2" Spacer part # TA25722-90P00 until you achieve this distance.

I have included both and installation and review videos of the Timbrens for you.
