Are Wires of Trailer Brake Assembly Magnets Polarity Sensitive
Question:
I have a trailer with 5 wires yellow,green,brown. I know which plug those go to. What Im confused on is the brakes on my trailer have a white and a black wire Im not sure where they go on the 7 way plug?

The magnet wires of a trailer's brake assemblies are not polarity sensitive. What that means is that either of the wires can be used as the power or the ground. So the brake output circuit of your 7-way can run to either wire as long as the other is grounded.
