Wire Functions for 7-Wire to 4-Wire Kit RM-98164-7 with Black, Red, Yellow, and White Wires

Question:

Hello, We had Camping World install our Road Master All Terrain tow package sometime in 2008. I think my husband may have got the straight blue wire caught in the tow bars as he lifted it up to the locked position. That is the only explanation we can come up with! The 4 wires have come out of the large black 7 pin adapter that plugs into the class A motorhome!!! We got ready to leave the campground and the straight blue cord was just laying on the ground with the wires exposed???? Do you have a wiring diagram which would show how the 4 wires go? The color of the wires we have are Black, Red, Yellow and White. All of the diagrams I can find on-line have green and brown wires, which we do NOT have. We only have Black, Red, Yellow and White wires. Any and all help you can provide is greatly appreciated. Thank you, so very much.

Roadmaster has switched wire colors on 7-Wire to 4-Wire Straight Cord Kit Item # RM-98164-7 and now uses green, brown, yellow, and white. But in either case white is the ground, red is likely left turn/brake, yellow for right turn/brake, and black for running lights. But there is an easy way to figure this out. Check the other end of that blue cable where it goes into the 4-Way round connector.

Looking at the back of that 4-Way round where the wires connect top right is right turn/brake, top left is left turn/brake, bottom right is running lights, and bottom right is the ground. Keep that in mind.

On the 7-Way connector that plugs into the RV, at the back where the wires attach, right turn/brake goes to the 3 o'clock position. Left turn/brake goes to the 9 o'clock position. Running lights goes to the 1 o'clock position. And ground goes to the 5 o'clock position.
