Replacement Motor and Gear Box For 2003 Keystone Hornet 5th Wheel Trailer
Question:
I have a 2003 5th wheel Hornet. When I try to lowers or raise the landing jacks, it just clicks. The battery is good. Is it the motor or gear box. If either, what would be a good replacement.

The best way to tell if it is a motor issue or a gear box is to use the manual crank. If it is the motor, the landing gear will function perfectly with the manual crank. If it is the gear box, then you will have a very similar issue with the clicking.
If it is the motor, I recommend the High Speed Motor # LC141893. If it is the gearbox as I suspect, I recommend the Replacement Aluminum Gearbox for Stromberg Carlson Landing Gear # LG-179015.
If you remove your motor and gearbox and they function correctly, then we can do some further troubleshooting.
