Will the Valterra Rocket Hand Pump Work on a Pressurized Water System

Does the valterra rp800 faucet work has both a pump from your on-board tank as well as a pressurized city water faucet when it is available?

My contact at Valterra confirmed with me that the Valterra Rocket Hand Pump, # RP800, is applicable on gravity feed water systems only. The hand pump will help pull water from your fresh water tank and pressurize the water for use.
The pump is not designed to be used with systems that use electric water pumps or pressurized water from city water hook up.
