I recommend the AeroBlade Edge kit, consisting of the following parts:

- AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack, part # TH7602-TH7603
- Thule Roof Rack Kit for Podium-Style Feet, part # THKIT4029

This is a rack that mounts directly to your factory side rails and doesn't require any additional installation. What's even better is that each bar is individually adjustable to a minimum of 24 inches of separation to provide a variety of configurations to accommodate your Thule Adventurer box.

You will also need a Replacement QM3 Kit, part # TH04997 to fit the Adventurer Cargo Box to your vehicle, as the original clamps are just a little too small for Aero designed bars.

When installing the Thule Adventurer, make sure to measure from the center of the front crossbar to the line where your hatch meets your roof. You'll want to position the roof rack and box to not cross that line, so you do not block your rear hatch from opening.

According to my research the 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe has roof capacity of 220lbs when evenly distributed. Be sure to verify this with your owner's manual before loading the box, and that while loading you make sure that the load is evenly spread throughout the box.
