Is the Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter Compatible with a Spray-In Bed Liner on a 2012 Ram 3500
Question:
GOT A NEW TRUCK WHICH IS A 2012 RAM 3500,IT HAS A B AND W UNDERBED HITCH INSTALLED . MY HITCH FROM MY OTHER TRUCK IS A CURT A16. THE TRUCK HAS A FACTORY SPRAY IN BED LINER ,ITS SEEMS GOOD BUT NOT SUPER THICK. DO YOU SEE ANY ISSUES WITH THIS ADAPTER FITTING THE BED 16310. ALSO WAS GOING WITH A DRAW TITE WIRING KIT KIT ITEM 20110 , GOING TO MOVE 7 WAY IN BED . DO YOU THINK THIS ONE WOULD BE GOOD FOR THAT.

As long as the spray-in bed liner of your 2012 Ram 3500 is under 1/8 of an inch thick it will fit just fine. My contact at Curt said that they did build tolerances into the Curt X5 Adapter # 16310 to accommodate for that. If it is thicker than 1/8 of an inch you might have some problems though and you might want to remove a little bit of it if possible. The adapter is compatible with your Curt A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C16120 that fits standard base rails.
I'm glad that you were looking into the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness 7-Pole # C56000 for the bed of your truck. Installing a 7-Way into the bed of your truck will help to make connecting and disconnecting your trailer wiring much quicker.
I have also attached some videos for you to check out.
