Can Wheel with Smaller Pilot Diameter be Replaced with Wheel that has Larger Pilot Diameter
Question:
Is it ok to use a new wheel with a 2.84 pilot dia. to replace an existing wheel with a 2.5 pilot dia.

As long as your trailer wheel is attached with lug nuts and not lug bolts (ones that screw IN to the hub) then going with a wheel that has a larger pilot diameter is just fine.
