Can the Shank of Pro Series Cargo Carrier PS1040100 be Flipped to Lower the Platform

Can this carrier be purchased with a straight 2x2 tube so it will ride lower

I checked with the manufacturer and they told me that the hitch shank on the Pro Series Solo Cargo Carrier # PS1040100, can be flipped either way to help with clearance when opening the cargo area door on your vehicle.
So what you can do is flip the shank in the orientation that lowers the platform of the carrier a few inches as opposed to in the up position which would raise it.
