Propane Detector Recommendation for Ford Exporer
Question:
where should this be mounted in a ford explorer. i read they like them no more than 18 of the floor. can they be both mounted horizontally and vertically? do both power wires have to be hooked up to the battery-it would seem one would do the job. thanks for your help

The Atwood CO and propane gas detector # AT36681 is pretty much a universal fit item so you can use it. Be sure to position it so that it is no more than 18 inches up from the ground since propane gas is heavier than air. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.
It could be mounted horizontally or vertically.
