Is the TracRac SR Ladder Rack Compatible on a 1995 Ford F-150 with 8 Foot Bed

Question:

The TracRac SR sliding rails ladder rack system indicates theres not a confirmed fit for a 1995 Ford F-150. My truck has a standard cab and a long bed I think 8ft long. Im looking to carry lumber primarily, and other long objects on the rack. My dad has the SR rack on his truck, and it works really well. Build quality is good, light weight, and easy to tie down lumber. Im hoping it might work on my newly acquired 1995 F-150. Looks like the sliding rails attach to the truck using the post points, and are fixed in place by squeezing a rubber stopper under the trucks bed rail? I dont see why it wouldnt work, or couldnt be made to work?

We carry a few ladder racks that are confirmed to fit on a 1995 Ford F-150, but the TracRac SR Sliding Ladder Rack, # TH43003XT-501, is not a confirmed fit for the this vehicle.

If TracRac is a brand that you are interested in, then I recommend the TracRac TracONE Ladder Rack, # TH27000XT-EX. This ladder rack is a confirmed fit for a 1995 Ford F-150. The TracONE has an 800 lbs carrying capacity. The crossbars have an aerodynamic design that will help decrease wind drag and wind noise. This rack is a fixed system that connects to bed of your vehicle.

The TracRac SR is confirmed to fit the Ford F-150 starting with the 1997 model year. That year there was a model design over that previous generation design of the F-series trucks.
