Are Shims Required When Installing the BAKFlip G2 Hard Tonneau Cover on a 2017 Ram 1500
Question:
For a 2017 Ram 1500 64inch box when installing a Bakflip G2 are shims required? I didn't see shims In the video on the website for the 2016 ram....

The BAKFlip G2 Hard Tonneau Cover part # BAK26207 may or may not include 2 shims for installion. The shim installion is on a case by case basis. If this kit included a set of shims you will need to use them for installion whereas if they did not come with a set of shims you will not need them for installation. I called my contact at BAK and they were not able to confirm the need for shims for installation of this cover on a 2017 Ram 1500.
