Will Stromberg Carlson JET-5000 Electric Jack Work Well on 7,000 lb Trailer
Question:
I am getting a 2017 Wells Cargo Road Force trailer model RF6X122 with a GAWR of 7,000 lbs. Will this fit the trailer and does it have sufficient power? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
Yes, the Stromberg Carlson JET-5000 will work great for you.
It has a lifting capacity of 5,000 lbs which would be more than you'd need but will ensure that the jack will operate quickly and last a long time.
The capacity of a jack is directed towards the tongue weight of the trailer. If your trailer weighs 7,000 lbs that would mean your tongue weight is around 700-1,000 lbs which would be easy work for the Husky.
