Powered A-Frame Jack Recommendation for 2004 Warrior Toy Hauler

Question:

I am looking at a ATwood model 75722 screw jack installed on a 2004 Warrior toy hauler. It is working, but it has been in storage for more than 5 years, and the housing is rusty. The jack will lift the trailer/hitch/Suburban more than high enough to install the Equalizer bars. but it sounds like hell. It wont last very long, I only run it for about 5 seconds, and let it rest. It need lubrication to the screw and gearbox.

Not all jacks are designed to be lubricated. The Atwood you are considering installing is probably not the best solution since it's rusty.

I recommend the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-5000.

It has a lifting capacity of 5,000 lbs which would be more than you'd need but will ensure that the jack will operate quickly and last a long time.
