Can Ultra-Fab Stackable Stabilizers for Small Trailers and Campers be Used to Hold a Truck Camper

Question:

I have a 2005 Arctic Fox Silver Fox 1140, truck camper, weighing about 3,900 lbs in storage mode. The manufacturer requires off truck storage be on three crosswise supports, one each across the front and rear, and one across the middle. In order to accommodate minor surface irregularities, Id like to use screw jacks as part of the support system to allow fine adjustments. Id be using 6 of these jacks, so at 6,000 lbs per Jack rating, these should provide a large safety margin. Is there any reason why these jacks should not be used in this manner? The storage period might be as much as 12-18 months.

I don't see any reason that would keep you from using Ultra-Fab Stackable Stabilizers for Small Trailers and Campers - 6,000 lbs - Qty 4 Item # UF48-979004 with your Arctic Fox truck camper. Keep in mind though that these jacks are not designed to lift weight, just to hold it. So you would need to make your adjustments without the camper on the jacks.
