RV Rated Bike Rack for Use on a Winnebago View
Question:
We are looking for 2 inch trailer hitch mounted 2 bike rack. Our View is a G model which has a rear slide. How far does the Swagman RV rated tilt away model tilt down? And can you tilt it down with the bikes loaded on rack? Thanks

We don't have a hitch mounted Swagman bike rack that is rated for RV use and can be tilted. The moving parts that allow a bike rack to tilt can create weak points and will likely not hold up to the additional stress placed on a rack when used on an RV.
The Swagman Dispatch # S44FR is a folding rack because the center mast can be folded down, however not while the bikes are in use. Take a look at the video I've linked to see how flat it folds. The shank does have a 6-1/2 inch rise which may cause the rack to interfere with your slide.
