Recommended Base Rail and Installation Kit for 1997 Ford F-150

I need Rail Brackets for a Reese 5th wheel 16 K mft in 2-6-2004 # 30047 on a 1997 Ford F150. Are they available predrilled for a truck this old? Thank You

We do have custom base rail kits available for your 1997 Ford F-150.

I recommend the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit # RP50042-58. This kit includes vehicle specific brackets that will greatly minimize drilling and measuring while cutting the installation time in half when compared to universal systems. This is because they will use existing holes in your truck's frame for the installation. For just the custom brackets and hardware, you can use part # RP50042.

The included rails are compatible with your 16 K Reese 5th Wheel Hitch # RP30047 and will work great. The kit includes the custom brackets, rails and hardware. I have attached a short installation video on the 1998 Ford F-150 that you can use for reference.
