What is a Better Cross Rail Width for a 2008 Town and Country Bike Rack?
Question:
I need to know if this part number will work on my 2008 Chrysler town and country. The current crossrails I have now are too wide for the bike rack I purchased. See the picture Below When I tried to put the base on the cross rail the ubolt isnt wide enough. Looking at the pictures on your website it appears that this part number is less narrower. I hope you understand what Im trying to find out.

The SportRack Roof Rack, part # SR1099 is a confirmed fit for the 2008 Town and Country. Additionally, these rails are much narrower than your current set, and should fit your bike rack nicely. Square rails are much easier to fit than other bar shapes and the square profile lets many different accessory mounts fit.
