I have purchased the Elite Slider RP30144 and want to use a winch to lift on and off my truck. Can you tell me how much the head weighs and how much the rest of the body weighs with head removed? Thanks

The Reese Elite Series Fifth Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30144 basically breaks down to three pieces: The head # 58292 which is about 40 pounds, the head support # 58293 which is about 50 pounds, and the sliding base which is about 100 pounds.

Realistically, you will only remove the head to move the hitch in and out of your truck bed so the base and head support will be attached weighing about 150 pounds.
