I have a Dodge Ram crew cab Laramie 4x4 with a short bed. Will the 18k superglide hitch work ok with my truck?

RP30144, and Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit, part # RP30074, would be a very good choice for your 2011 Dodge Ram.
On trucks with beds shorter than 8 feet, it is recommended that you install a fifth wheel hitch that has a slider in it to give you additional clearance during tight cornering. I attached an FAQ article below on fifth wheel hitches that you should find informative.
