Does The Yellow Wire Coming For The Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole Have To Be Attached
Question:
do I have to have the yellow wire hooked up to curt 7 way plug to make taillights work? when I plugged in to the flat 4 blade connecter?

The yellow wire coming from the back of the 7-way connector on the Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole Vehicle End Trailer Connector part # 30717 is an auxiliary wire used for reverse lights or a reverse lockout. Therefore, no the yellow wire will not need to be attached in order for the trailer's tail lights to work.
