Replacement Parts for RV Lights and LED Type Bulb Replacements

Question:

I have a Gustafson RV Ceiling Light. The 11inch rectangle with frosted glass. The light wiring or sockets are shorted out and I would like to replace the wiring/sockets rather that the entire light. Is it possible to purchase the wiring? Many thanks.

We do offer some replacement parts for RV lighting products from Gustafson, items like bulbs an shades, but not parts like sockets and wiring. These can be sourced from a local electrical or lighting supply. Gustafson does not offer such items to consumers since they do not expect their customers to be doing more than installing a light in place of another.

You may well find it is actually more cost-effective just to replace the whole fixture than to go through the trouble of finding the correct parts to repair the light yourself. I linked our main page for all RV ceiling lights which include both standard incandescent and high-efficiency LED types.

We also offer replacement LED bulb-equivalents that can allow you to easily reduce your RV's power demand from its lights. This can both help reduce heat in the RV and give you longer battery life from a trailer-mounted battery. These are also linked for you. Just find the bulb number on your existing incandescent lights to see if we offer an LED to replace it. For instance, the popular 194 bulb can be replaced with an LED such as # ARC68FR (white), # ARC78FR (amber), and # ARC88FR (red)
