Install Video to Use as Guide for Installing Brake Controller in a 2017 Toyota Highlander
Question:
Trying to install a Tekonsha Prodigy P2 #90885 brake controller on a 2017 Toyota Highlander. I am using trailer wiring kit ETBC7. How do I connect to the brake pedal wire for the controller? I have removed the lower dash panel. With the seat all the way back and the steering wheel as high as it goes I still cannot see how anyone but a six year old with spider monkey arms could ever access this wire. I am 64, pushing 60 yo, with an iffy back and I cannot see how I could ever contort myself to get to this wire to test and splice into. Please tell me how your installers did it so I can duplicate your efforts. Regards,

I attached a link below that has an install video for the # ETBC7 installed on a 2015 Toyota Highlander which will be the exact same on your 2017 Toyota Highlander for you to use as a guide.
Towards the end they show how to find the stoplight circuit.
