Will a Different Shank Brand Fit an Equal-I-zer Weight Distribution System
Question:
I have a Reese Shank number 54970, can this shank be used with the equalizer number EQ37061ET?
asked by: John
Expert Reply:
I actually do not recommend the use of Reese shank # RP54970 with an Equal-I-zer weight distribution system, # EQ37061ET, because the Reese design is such a departure from the Equal-I-Zer design. A shank such as Fastway # FA92-02-4213 or Curt # 17120 are better options and either would work well for you.
