Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack # TH934XTR Recommendation for a 2008 Subaru Forester
Question:
Hi: Will this rack fit on my 2008 Subaru Forester? Ive heard that the 2008 had some issue with certain hitch mounted bike racks when I read some blogs about it.

As long as you have a hitch mounted on your 2008 Subaru Forester like a Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 36311, you should have no problem using this Thule Hitching Post Pro 4 Bike Carrier, part # TH934XTR, on your Forester.
This rack has clearance of 11-7/8 inches from the center of the hitch pin out to the nearest upright bracket of the rack. If you were to measure the distance from the center of the hitch pin out to the farthest point away on the bumper of your Forester and found that that distance is less than 11-7/8 inches this rack would work well for you.

If you are planning on hauling any womens or alternative framed bikes you would probably want a Thule Womens and Alternative Frame Bike Adapter Bar, part # TH982XT. I attached a review video for this product below.
