Universal Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Recommendation for 1997 Ford F-350

Question:

We have bought a trailer that was furnished with a Reese 30056 hitch assembly but did not come with the bed rails. It looks like this is a discontinued hitch but may work with a 30035 rail kit??? If so would be installing on a 1997 F350 diesel. Could you confirm and provide any installation issues pertinent to this truck? It looks like there are a lot of rivet heads, shock mounts, spring bumpers, etc. in the sweet spot.

For your 1997 Ford F-350 the Reese rail kit part # RP30035 is a confirmed fit that would work great to install your older Reese hitch.
