Installing Rola Haul-Your-Might T3 Truck Bed Ladder Rack
Question:
On my new ROLA Haul Your Might T3 Ladder Rack, is the Under Cover Strip cosmetic, or is it required for the stability and function of the rack? I am currently challenged getting an even enough cut to make the strip pieces slide back into the groove and I am wondering if I can skip this part. Thanks!

I spoke with my contact at Rola regarding your Haul-Your-Might T3 Truck Bed Ladder Rack # 59799.
He stated that the primary function of the under cover strip you referenced is in fact cosmetic, however you may also hear a whistling sound without the strip installed because of the opening it will leave. While he does recommend installing the strip, not doing so will have no effect on the actual stability and function of the ladder rack on your truck.
