Recommended 12 x 2 Electric Trailer Brake Assemblies for 28 Foot Car Hauler
Question:
I have a 28foot enclosed car hauler with 4 wheel brakes 12 x 2 but the brakes have never been very good like I thought they should be. I have tried different controllers which have not helped. Is there a complete set you would recommend to use that may work best or be a bit more aggressive.

If you are wanting your brakes to act a little more aggressively you might just simply need to adjust them. This can easily be done using the Brake Adjustment Spoon for Drum Brakes # W80630. I have attached a demonstration video for you to use as a reference.
If, in fact, your brakes are needing to be replaced, I highly recommend going with our Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-7-SA. After the initial setup, these self-adjusting brakes will do the work for you so that you don't have to keep adjusting them whenever you feel like your brakes need to be tweaked. The measure 12 x 2 and fit wheel sizes 14-1/2, 15, 16, and 16-1/2 inches. These brakes are also made to work with 5.2K to 7K axles. You will want to make sure to check your axle weight capacity to ensure that these are compatible with your current setup.
I have attached a demonstration and installation video for you to check out as well.
