Recommended Block Style Kayak Carrier for Nissan Pathfinder
Question:
I usually use my truck to transport my kayak, but am looking for pad and strap system as an alternative for my other vehicle, Nissan Pathfinder. Can you help with the best system for a Jackson Kayak Coosa HD? The boat is 126inch long and 34inch wide, 79 lbs without the seat. Which foam block system would be my best option?

To transport your Jackson Kayak Coosa on your Nissan Pathfinder, I recommend looking at the SportRack Kayak Carrier # RL100K10.
These heavy duty foam blocks can be either mounted to a naked roof or attached to crossbars on the Pathfinder. The kit includes load straps and bow/stern tie-downs to secure it into place. This lightweight and convenient system will do a nice job of securing your 79 pound Jackson Kayak Coosa HD.
