To determine what Weight Distribution (WD) system is best for your application you will first need to find your Total Tongue Weight (TTW). This can be found by adding the Tongue Weight (TW) of your fully loaded and ready-to-go trailer along with the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your 2017 Ford Raptor. Once you know your TTW you will then want to pick a WD system with a weight range that your TTW falls in the middle of. Keep in mind that the TW of your trailer should be 10-15% of your loaded trailer.
My favorite WD system to recommend is the Reese Strait-Line because it has integrated anti-sway that works to prevent your trailer from swaying instead of correcting it once it has started. A system that might work for you is part # RP66074 which has a TW range of 600 lbs - 1,200 lbs. If that is too heavy then you can go with part # RP66073 instead which has a range of 400 lbs - 800 lbs. These systems do not come with a hitch ball and they require that the shank of the hitch ball have a diameter of 1/4 inches. If your current 2-5/16 inch hitch ball doesn't have a 1/4 inch shank then you can go with part # 19286.
If you have a 2 inch trailer hitch receiver on your Raptor then you will want to go with part # RP3344 as a shank. If you have a 2-1/2 inch receiver then you will want part # RP54977 instead.
Keep in mind that you will want to know your TTW before choosing a system.
